A Modern Mineral Company

Born of the
Pacific.

Salton sources some of the world's purest sea salt and minerals from the UNESCO-protected lagoons of Baja California — born of deep Pacific currents, the desert sun, and the quiet protection of a gray whale sanctuary.

Chapter I · A Single Place. A Global Company.

We are not a salt company.
We are a modern
mineral company —
born of one extraordinary place.

Cold deep-Pacific currents. Sun-driven evaporation. A protected lagoon shared with the gray whale.

From municipal infrastructure to the dinner table — the same mineral, expressed for every life.

Where Nature Creates Purity

Born From
the Pacific.

Cold, mineral-dense currents rise from nearly one kilometer beneath the Pacific surface, sweeping into the shallow, protected lagoons of Baja California's El Vizcaíno Biosphere Reserve — the largest wildlife sanctuary in Latin America.

These are the waters where 20,000 Pacific gray whales travel 12,000 kilometers each year to give birth. We share this place. We are stewards of it.

Manifesto · I

"Minerals are the original performance technology — formed by the planet, refined by the sun, designed to power everything from a single cell to a continental highway."

— Salton Field Notes, Vol. I

Chapter II · The Pledge

Leave the
lagoon untouched.

  1. I.

    Solar-driven

Our salt is harvested by sun and wind alone — the way the planet has always made it.

  2. II.

    Zero displacement

Not a single whale, bird, or migration route has been displaced by our operations.

  3. III.

    UNESCO co-stewardship

We operate inside the El Vizcaíno Biosphere Reserve under continuous independent oversight.

  4. IV.

    Global, local

Every ton we ship traces back to a single, intact ecosystem.
